The production capacity of the top 10 steel groups has been increased from the current 48% to 60%, and 3-5 steel companies with international competitiveness and 6-7 companies with strong strength will be cultivated. While total control is still the main theme of steel development during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, the steel industry will still be restricted from adding new capacity and simply expanding production capacity. Urban steel mills will selectively relocate

A person from the National Development and Reform Commission said that the country's future regulation of the steel industry will be based on the overall control of the layout.
